Description

Was going to be a simple image to showcase the mirror I made, got all caught up in Bryce optics and reflections again. Bryce reflects an image only six times and then you get black space. So I copied the image, reduced it, set it in the furthest mirror space and repeated three more times. Camera placement took forever. *** Made the mirror from a photo in a Russian Manor. Rendered without shadows and added them in postwork. Mil baby and Posette for the figures Yes, I know.... Man in a bowler = Magritte

Fantastical image here. Extremely well done model of the mirror. Incredible attention to detail too. BTW, under Bryce Control-Options-Reflections.. you can set Bryce to reflect as many times as desired. I've done 9.. don't know if any upper limit exists but 2 digits are legal (99?).. Image generation is longer of course with more ray bounces. Best to you guy and bravo from Dave :^)

Thanks Dave. I did not know that. In 6 years of Brycing, I've used premium effects about 4 times. Checked it out and it worked, but the way I did it, in post, added about six more reflections.

Wow, see, come to see some cool art, learn something about Bryce...double goodness! ha. One of the things I've ALWAYS loved is playing with reflections, in real life or in the 3D world (hmmmm, wait a minute, isn't the real world a 3D world?!?! Oops, bad writer, bad bad writer...write betterlier next time). Awesome work as always!

Great idea to increase number of bounces without adding to render times.

I like this a lot. Well thought out and well designed. I always liked to go into the fun house at the fair where they had these kinds of mirrored setups.
