Description

As soon as I posted the first version, I started seeing all the things I wanted to change. Put enough work into this, so I want it to be good. Turned up the premium render numbers to get more reflections for just the center part. The last mirror stays black and keeps going deeper and deeper as the rays are increased, then suddenly everything in the farthest distance converges to white. Weird. Maybe I approached the time-space continuum. *** Made the mirror in Hexagon, based on a photo a Russian manor interior. Two renders blended in post. Painted in the shadows. Normally I would center everything to the exact middle, but it works for this image.

The use of mirrors has always fascinated me and I've tried my hand at a few images along these lines myself. But you, fellow r'osity member, have mastered the use of mirrors! I AM impressed!

As I already said, your model mirror frame is exquisite. This image works much better than the previous. I've played with real mirrors like this. Very fun. Problem is that real mirrors are only about 85% reflective, so after about 10 bounces, all fades to black (real life). Anyway, this is so super cool. Alice would have been floored. (Lewis Carroll) Best to ya from Dave :^)
