This was the third shot from Thursday's photo session with Joleen. Our house has two staircases. This is the back stairs, with windows facing north.

Dear David, I'm still trying to figure out her hair color!! This time mostly brunette but the light is showing blond on the end by the window. Nice job of illuminating her against the backlit glass. That's always hard!! Did you use a spot or a strobe? Really cute girl and a equally cute pose - very relaxed!!! Excellent work!!! Love, Meredith

Lighting was via the camera's flash on the fixed setting. I underexposed in order to catch outisde details. When held vertically with the shutter button on the right, the strobe bulb is below and to the left of lens, which accounts for the shadow above her head. It's a useful staircase but a tight fit.
