I must have chosen Renaissance Man as a career option. I paint, draw, sculpt, write, and do photography.
Or put less charitably, "jack of all trades, master of none."

The joy of the creative life is there are no standards, no goals, no limits. Just do whatever you feel like doing to the fullest extent of your skills, facilities, faculties, and creativity.
Of course, it helps if everything is on hand, working, the Muse is making regular deliveries, and you're not tuckered or psyched out from your day job (or in my case, the overnight job).
I've been exhibiting at SF convention artshows since '76.
Starting in '86, I've been writing supplements for role playing games. You can find a list at http://www.pen-paper.net/rpgdb.php?op=showcreator&creatorid=2327
The best known is THE ULTIMATE POWERS BOOK, a treatise on comic book superpowers. You can find it on EBay or download it from the web.Â
As for photography, I'm using a 1976 Minolta SLR, a pair of 1.3 Mp Sanyo digital cameras, and an 8 Mp Canon S5. My computer is a HP Pavilion 4550Z, vintage 1999.
And I have webbed toes.
So does Dan Ackroyd, Madeline Stowe, and one of the Dixie Chicks. Ackroyd and I share the same attitude, "The toes prove I'm a mutant."

Very cute photo!

Cute pose David. :) I have to ask you though, what kind of camera are you using. I notice quite a lot of compression artifacts in your photos, I think you may be reducing your JPEG file sizes a bit too much. I think your images could be of a better quality. Also, the flash in this one is not overly flattering...natural light would have been better IMHO.

Dear David, WELL - here you go perpetrating another one of those little stereotypes that those of the "male persuasion" insist on inflicting upon us girls - to wit - "That women, children, and cats have rubber bones!!!" I think it's all just silly nonsense!! I think curling up into a ball in an airplane seat and going to sleep is a perfectly rational thing to do!! I can't help it if you guys don't seem to be able to do it!!! And Joleen curled up on the stairs is a perfectly normal thing to me!! I'm kind of curled up in my chair while I type this!!! Somebody would probably call a picture of me right now as "Kittne in a Chair!!!" Get shot and truly does have a kitten feel about it!! Love, Meredith

Well, I don't see why us guys can't curl up like that - I have done plenty of times lol - but yeah, lovely shot again :-)
