So strong and blade sharp are the words like war itself. Very well put, it's makes me angry as I think it should. I really like the first 2 lines. I really hate politics.

So obviously heartfelt and sincere, your feeling are carried superbly well along with your restrained but potent language. It has the same kind of cutting zeal as the WW1 British war poets, with their insistence on shifting the focus from 'larger issues' to the poor guys suffering and dying at the front. You've made your point with great power and no little elegance. Mike
