I have been drawing for about 7 years now and went from bryce to 3dsmax to Cinema 4D. I love drawing and modeling on the PC much more than conventional art tools, but that is just my opinion. I love looking at other artist work as a way to get ideas on how to improve my own style. I am a professional artist and have done numerous things including borad games, Album Covers, Medical Drawings and Animations, Character Design, Texure Painting Ect. I have been published in several magazines and you can check out more of my work in "CINEMA 4D : The Artist's Project Sourcebook" Available at most fine book sellers.

This is absolutely superb. I've been experimenting with creating landscapes in C4D instead of Vue but haven't gotten it down quite yet. Your work is most inspiring, the colors and the vast space are outstanding. My compliments!

Sabra, I love Vue, the only problem I have with it is that the renderer is somewhat grainy. Your work is very nice I especially like (Pearls, Ribbon and The Flower Duet)

This is a nice change seeing a nicely done Cinema terrain. You have done a nice job texturing the terrain. With all the included detail this sort of looks like an old style painting.

Hey haschu, Your right it can be hard to do good terains in C4D, the way I do it is to create the actual terrain in bryce and then export it out to a jpg file like a height map. then in C4D I open the relief object and load that .jpg file into it which creates my terain. I now make those terain objects editable and then I unwrap them with UV2BMP. Almost Done. Now I goto Bodypaint and start painting my textures onto the unwraped UV-Maps. Now apply the texture Maps to the terains and fix any seems or other problem. Viola! thats it, I hope this helps. If you have a drawing tablet it really helps when painting the textures. Also when I create my height maps in bryce I always add a small hight spot (Full White) to one corner for orientaion in C4D. That way you have a good refrence point to gage distance in your textures when creating them. Hope this help and isn't too hard to understand.
