Description

Hello. My name is Burt Crispy. I have been the Plant Manager for Palo Alto Nuclear Power for the past three years. Prior to joining PANP, I worked for over 17 years in the used car industry. Last week Workers at the plant flipped a switch to connect the plant's turbine-generator to the electrical grid. This marked the first time that a civilian utility company in the United States fried its customers from nuclear power. In the last four days, the plant has generated several thousand tons of highly radioactive waste, and immeasurable controversy. Oops! Antinuclear activists claim that nuclear power plants are unacceptably risky and that nuclear waste is the wrong legacy for us to leave future generations. I should have listened Three years of working inside the Palo Alto Nuclear Power taught me one important lesson -- I should have gone into politics.
