Description

After the deluge, and the destruction of the universe, a baby sleeps on a peepal leaf floating on the cosmic waters. It sleeps in contentment, the universe in its belly. Till a ripple goes through the fabric of time, when the baby wakes up to create things anew. Krishna, as the supreme being sleeping on a peepal leaf. This is a very popular picture in Hindu households and my mother used to tell me to think of Baby Krishna whenever I had bad dreams. And he chased my demons away. I found great peace and love painting this today and hope you do too, who see it! Love you all! Ashok PS: Baby is poser infant rendered in Daz. Rest is postwork.

Absolutely ADORABLE!!!! I don't suppose you have any plans to do an image of Ganesha? He's my absolute favorite. of course, he's probably the hardest of all with the elephant head and everything. Still, if you ever do, let me know I would love to see it! :-)
