Description

Just a quicky!
We had a rough day and are going out for a nice dinner - will catch up with everyone's uploads when I get back... I quickly took this shot now when I saw the flowers my mother-in-law brought me (out of her garden) had a worm on it and already had his lunch (or dinner) for that matter! Just goes to show, within a bunch of pretty things, there sometimes are something else destroying it out for personal gain... anyway, my little piece of wisdom for the day...
Thanks to every person visiting yesterday's drop: - McDreamy - and leaving their words of wisdom behind. Comments on this wormy are welcome too!
Ciao for NOW!

I get vexed too when I see a bug chomping on my beautiful plants but its the preditor/prey thing. One deserves to live as much as the other but in live, one has to be sacraficed to some point to save the other. Wonderful photo of both bud and bug.

Sometimes the quickie shots are the best; the focus is just right, and it's amazing how you got the little inchworm to pose for his hot. ;)

Beautiful elegant quicky macro capture of nature at its best, Este! Strange pods I've never seen before, but for plants that's no surprise as far as I'm concerned. Now, the question is, who is eating who in this picture? Did the worm just dive in and start munching, or is this a meat eating plant, similar to a Venus Fly Trap, gobbling up its prey? The worm seems to be struggling for its life.

but that is the beauty of nature... that there thing is destroying something beautiful in your words, but if i am not mistaken that thing will turn into a beautiful butterfly later on in it's life ;) Very nice shot - crisp and colourful. The background suffers from some noise (high ISO?) which is easily fixable but that is a minor point in the overall view of the shot... so yeah - good job! :)
