Description

Hi my friends!
Well after I shot the little Wormie of yesterday: - Lunch - I photographed the "pods" the worm was eating in their open form... Looks alien indeed! I thought they look like small propellers - from there the title! Anyway... Thanks for all the comments yesterday and please feel free to leave your thoughts today as well!!
Till tomorrow, have a good one!

Nice composition and thought behind it but i just cant see enough of the subject in focus ie, the dof is too severe for this pov :( Is that the same guy on the top right in focus? ;) Lovely colours once again :)

Propellers yes, or like the Alien movies... maybe there's an ugly beast hidden inside it... lol. Nice close-up! Oh, and thx for your advise on my last upload, you were right!

Fine soft macro capture there, young lady. Nice depth. Say, they do look like little propellers! Nice analogy there, Este! Contact! They also remind me of those big basket mitts they use in the game of Jai Alai.

I really like the softness of your dof, especially with white flowers on a dark ground.I've often gotten this effect with my macro lens and sometimes it looks just right...like here in your capture.Lovely imagery,Este',and yes, they do look like tiny propellers!Have a wonderful evening.-M :^)

Actually they remind me of that spaceship from the James Bond movie "You Only Live Twice," or something like that. The one with Donald Pleasance playing Blofeld. Overall a very nice shot, I would have tried to keep the entire closest flower in focus, but I know how difficult that can be in a macro.
