I always loved those cartoons when I was growing up and I found some of them on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVQU_jEtlwk I'm wild about your versions too maybe you could animate them as cartoons also?

Very funny stuff Mere. I also do a pretty good Moose.. "Hey Rocky! Watch me pull a rabbut outta ma hat! (Grurrrrral) Opps! Wrong hat!" Ok, sounds better when I voice it...lol. My favorite part was the narrator... his dialog was the funniest. Excel fable! I hope you illustrate some! (at least the sexy parts) Can't wait for "Rapunzel meets Goldilocks" or Red Riding Hood with a big bad wolf in bed. Great stuff.. Your on a roll now! Hugs from Dave :^)

Moose and squirrel, I always loved them and still do...almost as much as Spongebob and Patrick. So how do you get a full sized view on a written piece? We have staff meetings at work but the boss never springs for lunch unless some of the clients are there. As for watching movies, the occassional power point or handout doesn't even come close. Sounds like you've got it made. On to the story, a great present day twist on the classic, a new series of fractured (fractaled?) fables is just what we need. The new launching system will be a great boon to mankind and giants always need something to keep them occupied, keeps them from eating people I suppose.

Geez Meredith, you even think like Natasha ! you know Mr Giant and Mrs Billionaire could also approach NASA to help save AstroNUTZ, by launching Space Shuttles with the same method ? Gotta feel a wee bit sorry for the dumb son though, you don't think...nah, he couldn't be...related to Dweebert ? now that's scary ! Lucky your Boss didn't show you the Super Chicken & Fred cartoons or there might be egg on my face ? great writing and tale woe and happiness with the fractured twist....BRAVO Miss DNA !!! LOL & ~Cheers~ :o)

I think it may violate fair use to show pictures of low riders and hint about stalking beaner show puppets. When do the really luney tunes begin and the drifters ride off into the sunset?

And if it was set in Britain the Health and safety inspector's wouldn't have allowed Jack to climb up the beanstalk and the litter police would have fined his mother for having a trashy son. Jack wouldn't have been sent to prison because the police would be arrested and tried for assaulting him and the judge wouldn't have the powers to sentence Jack. Your version is very funny.

Hmmm. So Jack was about as sharp as a sack full of wet mice--Foghorn Leghorn. Excellent story--keep 'em coming.

Great fable. Crime doesn't pay? Hmmm, you should try to tell that to all criminals who live better than me and haven't worked ever. 8-) Jack could have been fine if the police hasn't showed, so maybe the moral of the story is that police is bad for business. 8-)

One of the things I like about Satelite TV... We still have Rocky and Bulwinkle! I think you've created a more modern version of the Fractured Fairy Tales, a very funny version! Terrific work Meredith! Your imagination is wonderful!
