I adore this sledge of wet fog moving along water on the surface of the river. One smells the freshness of the morning immediately. Contrast is seizing between this sky 'summer', slightly dappled and the coldness of the ground accompanied by its moisture. Very beautiful impressionist engraving

Dear Richard, This is really superb!! The "fog" lifting off the lake give it a very "oil" look and feel!! I keep scrolling back up for another look - you really could convince me that you had painted it!! Nature doesn't usually get this pretty - but you found a truly magical spot!! Was this around home - or have you and your new wheels started traveling?? People always rave about "sunsets" but there are so many gorgeous mornings like this that don't get their share of glory!!! It was a remark from Meredith that directed me to your site this morning. What an incredible photo. There's a dried up riverbed leading into the sea here in Spain that looks like that when it floods after a storm. I love the feeling of being in two worlds at the same time. Stunning!
