Description
The first image is an actual Daz|Studio render with no lights at all.
This shows the beautiful building by Stonemason "The Backstreets" - but it looks a bit dull - don

Very realistic work

the middle one - without the photoshop postwork - just looks so real!!! Were you planning on including the filters with the lightset for sale? Only reason I ask is that there are many people without Photoshop, and I'm wondering if it would make them not buy it. What about having the filters seperate, or perhaps even putting up a mini-tut somewhere, with suggestions etc? (and i have to admit, i actually like the one WITHOUT postwork on this..despite my earlier comments in the forum...LOL)
Soulpainter
I have to agree. I really like the middle picture the best. It is most realistic. Excellent lighting and well, just a scene that you could truly see walking in the city.

Aw - thanks! Yeah - the filters are really for people with Photoshop. Im glad you like the middle one! :) I will enhance the set in the near future - to "dirty" up the image - wihitn Daz|Studio. :) Great idea for PS tuts though!
chrispoole
Superb work on this lightset and the second one is the most realistic.

I'm with jakiblue and Soulpainter on this - the middle one without the PS enhancement is also my preference. I'll probably get this set when it becomes available because I'm seriously thinking of starting to learn/use D|S (other than to just import Poser scenes for transfer to Bryce). This lightset is a push in that direction... W. P.S. (W. = Waldemar - I guess a fairly common name (or at least not rare...) in Germany and Central/Northern Europe but I have yet to meet another one here in the USA - and I've been here over 50 years.)

The middle picture really shows the difference. The strength really is in the shadows and how much depth and details it gives a scene, plus it lights the ground also. Cool! I always liked your postwork so I don't know if I really favour the second or the third one. It depends on what you want to do I guess, if you want more realistic or a bit more fantasy... Once more... well done!

It's the one in the middle for me Walle!! Superb!!

first one... nah, secong and third ones... yeah!... all depends on mood of scene... both good, both very usuable! So I'd be interested in these filters. Cool work!

It always amazes me how critical lighting is to a visual. I know that sounds like a bit of a Duh but it can turn an ordinary image into an extraordinary image and vice versa.
