I think of transition between dark and light when I look at this, what happens when you open a door from a room in light to a toally dark room. it can give birth to many thoughts, i think of lighting up places inside us, if we just dare to open up doors to dark and forgotten places.

Simple but very powerful IMO. The darkness makes you wonder if there is anything at all, if there is something hiding or if it is just empty. From where did I come? Did I leave someone behind? I also like that the road in the light is only visible at a short part - this again makes you think about what lays ahead. Opportunities, possibilities, changes? This picture tells many stories to be heard of...
