Description
Lots of people have their own special ways of giving thanks, and tomorrow a lot of people across America will be doing just that. In my case I think I have a lot to be thankful for. This image represents all the strength and power that has been in my corner since I got sick. Actually always but made compounded by the illnesses.
You learn from your past, you learn from your family, you learn from your Spirit, and you learn from yourself. Sometimes we don't know how strong we are until something tests that strength or how vulnerable we are until something strikes at that strength.
But the fact that I'm still sitting here able to do these images and then go to work and joke and complain says a hell of a lot. Some haven't gotten that lucky.
So soar everyone. You're not alone and you're stronger than you know.

Belated response to an unexpected and beautiful image. The wings are perfectly variegated and add to the introspective mood. His clothing is also well-turned. What's that white structure behind his head, though? It seems out of place. (You might consider using "wings" among your keywords or in your descriptions, by the way. I usually search on that, and have to remember to also search "winged" to find your weekly pieces.)
