If you've been kind enough to come here because of one of my comments, I have to say that I very rarely write just one-liners, whether of praise or critique. I've always been too wordy {grin} but I also believe that artists deserve more substantive notes. I prefer to leave them when something moves me to speak in detail. In a similar way, every favorite on my pages received a "5" rating ... and I only give a "5" if it's special enough to become a personal favorite. That's how I am. I'm still just beginning to learn to use some of the more advanced digital art tools, and I'm amazed at how far the innovation has come. The tools-for-tools offered in the Renderosity marketplace are themselves stunning.
My deep and extensive artistic interest, since I was very young, has been winged human(oid)s in art. In addition to a story posted here (Part One, Part Two), I have a gallery elsewhere with more writings about them, as well as several hundred "faves" of others' skilled winged art. A fanfic about the winged Dawnstar of DC's Legion, with illustrations by others, is also on line. Some Greybird art by Legion fans is at my Slide galleries.
I would be delighted to find out about any Renderosity work that you're proud of creating which involves angels, fae, or, especially, "realistic" winged humans. If you tell me about it in site mail, I guarantee a detailed comment in response. Very likely a fave, as well!
