Description

Mea culpa time, my friends! I've been so occupied with posting shots of animals, daisies and other flowers, various trees and gardens, etc., I had completely forgotten about the bizarre cloud photos lying dormant in my hard drive that I had taken between 12/8/05 and 12/19/05 -- almost a year ago -- when nature put on a wild and woolly display of cloud formations rarely seen over Southern California. So, to remedy this inexcusable oversight, I've posted one that I hope will meet with your satisfaction. This was a combination of altocumulus and cirrocumulus clouds and only meteorologists know what else. Surprisingly, no rain resulted from all this posturing. I hope to be posting more of these at a more rapid rate than before. Thanks for dropping by, and have an unparalleled Thanksgiving holiday!

amazing sky there, I think it was a good idie to let the sun dont be in the picture, I realy like how the sun light shines in the picture from the bottom left... take care..

Never in your life, very dramatic and I love the colors. It seems the high winds were very strong to create these patterns.
