Description

We found this while hiking in France Park, our 'stomping grounds'. How long has it been since shaving cream came in glass jars? A good weekend to all and Thanks for Looking! Ken

Well, just checked ebay, they are worth about 3-5 bucks. So much for striking it rich, I suppose.

Then again it can only appreciate sitting on your shelf. (as long as you don't break it, more). Its pretty cool.

Lucky find Ken ! it reminds me of finding old beer bottle ends (with year stamps,1932 up to 1946) around the foreshore of Sydney Harbour, kool capture as Farkwar said it's worthless, but not to the finder !!! ~Cheers~ :o)

It's found its home nestled in with other little group of finds: Railroad spikes, old phone wire insulators, assorted unusual bones, fossils, beach glass, etc.

I also remember these. Best part of Burma Shave though were the signs on the road. As a child, when the family drove anywhere outside of town, we would all read the Burma Shave signs in unison. It was great fun. So, I'm not alone in collecting old and useless items. :-)
