Description

The Ears of the Mind. The eavesdroppers of the order. No longer completely human, not yet completely machine, most considers them to be the closest to the spirit of the Great Mind. Their task is dual - the majority of the ears are employed to control all communications that happens within the order area of influence, both protecting them from preying eyes and keeping them under control while searching for dissidents and traitors. But they are in charge of another task as well, less known but not less important, which consist of intruding into the systems of the Federacy, the Free Union, and all the other enemies of the Order, to steal plans and informations that the Brothers can use in the conquest effort. While this task is not, and must not be, known outside of the walls of the Temple, it is mainly on it that your training will focus, should you decide to join the Ears. Dear Cris, HOLY CATS!! I read your intro and I'm still not sure exactly what is going on - not too sure if I do want to know the details!!!! ;-) BUT - this is one heck of a complex scene! You've got details coming out the kazoo!! I can see why David was so impressed because he also builds such complex images!! I'll bet it was a nightmare to render. The probe/tentacle things has to have a LOT of polygons!! And her suits and stuff, too! In fact she may be the least complex collection of polygons in the scene! I learned my lessons modeling chains - to make them look right takes a huge number of polygons with all the associated rendering headaches!!! This is really awesome! A fantastic piece of work!!!
