BIOLaurent Antoine, alias "Lemog".
37 years old
I live in France, near Paris... in the Champagne's land.
After short studies of "mechanical and industrial drawing", I left school at 17 years old, in 1982.
My dream is to find a work in a graphics studio, but without any result, yet...
In 1986, this dream became reality, I was hired by a publishing firm.
In 1993, traditional graphics was totally abandonned, now, it's the computer era !
I tried some 3d software, for the pleasure, firstly at home, with
Extreme3D and StrataStudio.
My company makes video film too, it's naturally that I began the creation of 3d sequences,
with Amapi for modeling and ElectricImage for rendering.
And in 1998, it was the begining of a new adventure in professional 3d, we purchased three licenses of Maya !
My dream came true !

When will the project be done? I know it has been going on for quite a while. Nice render.

mmmmh... certainly not before 2010... I know... it's a long time... but necessary if I really want to do all, or almost. There's at least around 120 pavilions to do... you can add all a reconstrucion of the old paris, the swiss village, the eiffel tower, all the bridges on the Seine, the big wheel of Paris, the trocado palace, all the different boats on the Seine, and the crownd... that make more of much work. It's a giant project, but very passionating for me. I just hope to keep the force until the end ! Thanks for your interest Dann !

Most amazing work!!!!! It's breathtaking, so much that the words simply can't do it justice. I've taken a peak at your website a few times before too. Head and shoulders above the rest! Congratulations on being artist of the month too! Hugz, Connie

Congrats ! Another incredible render... really I admire your skill.

Brilliant building and nice render as always. 2010 is when you think to be finished!! What are you going to do with all these models that you are obviously spending a lot of time on? It would be horrible think you worked so hard and then they were just left on the proverbial shelve to collect dust.
lemog
No Rorsdors... the final goal is very precise... to do a documentary film... or many, because with the high number of buildings, that risk to be very long... You can saw a render test at this link... it missed much things, you can imagine the same scenery with behind a second range of pavilion, the electric train and also the moving sidewalk... the river seine and all these boats... without forget the crowds ! much work remain... http://lemog.club.fr/divx/hong_serb_01_480.avi

Congrats for getting AOM, well deserved title... So much great work! Just funny to think about that time... "Something is just about to happen"... Austrian empire just about to fall, so many states to emerge again... And these people were thinking is just a dawn of new, better times for them... Like in 1990s. Wrong then, and wrong now... Hope this time all this will solve in a much more peaceful way.

Your images in your gallery are outstanding beauty each of their own way. I've enjoyed it so. This image reminds me of an old oil painting. very interesting and enjoyable to view. The coloring, shading, texture lighting, and detail are stunning. Excellent .Congrats on AOM I see that it was a very well choice. :)
