BIOSomeone once asked me what was my passion? My anwser was photography. Nothing gets me excited like a good black & white print. I have always drawn and discovered photography in my early teens. Fell in love with it and went to The Art institute of Atlanta in the late '70s majoring in photo. Worked in a custom lab for a few years and realy developed my printing skills. Did feelance off & on but it didn't pay well. I've been working for about 20 yrs. & am one of the owners in a Mining Equip. company. Not very artistic but it led me to doing CAD work. From there I got a copy of PhotoshopLE which led to harder CG drugs. I got involved in 3D and then felt a need to show people some of the things I enjoyed making. So I learned a bit of htm and made a web site or two.
I hope you enjoy the images I post. I have a great time making them and this too is my passion.

Dear Mark, I think you ARE an artist!! I've jsut been looking over this and the previous two drawings and you have real talent! You should dust off the pencils and do some more!!! It'd be a lot of fun I'm sure and we'd all like to see your work!! SO - just how long ago did you draw this??? How about an update???? ;-) Excellent work!!! Love, Meredith

Also here I shall share the opinion of MeredithWilson that you SHOULD dust off your pencils (see my comment on your previous image concerning pastels and Poser). I was wondering 2 or 3 days ago that most of Renderosity artists are'nt professionals but, beleive me, their levels are as high ones as professionals even better maybe (as a professional artist looking at true professional works i.e. from people who are earning their life from art I am sure of what I say). Perfect self-portrait! Your friend, Edouard

Mark, you really are an artist dear! Fantastic drawing again. I really enjoy all of your work, but I have a special place in my heart for pencil/paper drawings (since I can't do them myself). Gorgeous!
