BIOSomeone once asked me what was my passion? My anwser was photography. Nothing gets me excited like a good black & white print. I have always drawn and discovered photography in my early teens. Fell in love with it and went to The Art institute of Atlanta in the late '70s majoring in photo. Worked in a custom lab for a few years and realy developed my printing skills. Did feelance off & on but it didn't pay well. I've been working for about 20 yrs. & am one of the owners in a Mining Equip. company. Not very artistic but it led me to doing CAD work. From there I got a copy of PhotoshopLE which led to harder CG drugs. I got involved in 3D and then felt a need to show people some of the things I enjoyed making. So I learned a bit of htm and made a web site or two.
I hope you enjoy the images I post. I have a great time making them and this too is my passion.

Dear Mark, I'd have to vote for Clara Bow - check out her web site at: http://www.clarabow.net/ and I think you might find your original inspiration. She was the original "It" girl! Terrific work! Great pencil work! I think her hands, feet, and hair are very good!! As I said before, I wish I could one tenth as well!!! Excellent work!!! Love, Meredith

I do'nt share what you say, the hands are perfect, everything is working very well here. Excellent texture work. Possibly NOW you could try to interpret some of your Poser renders with hand media such as dry pastels, sure that it would be very interesting. I appreciate very much that you share this work with us.

Wow Mark, I'm blown away! I never knew you could do traditional pencil & paper drawings. This is really fantastic! I don't see anything wrong with her hands or feet. Other than her other shoe not being colored, hehe. But that certianly doesn't take away the quality & beauty of this work! You should invest in a tablet & pen if you don't have one. Bet you could do killer digital paintings!
