Description
More koi from the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden located on the north campus of Cal State University Long Beach in California.
As you can see, the poor fish were caught in an unexpected rapid cold snap that hit the area overnight, catching the maintenance crew by surprise. After all, it was December when the photo was taken, so it can get really cold. As for the survival of the koi, I just don't know.
Thanks for dropping by, and be careful out there!

since they are the Japanese variety they must be able to withstand cold weather.
