Description

Oh my goodness, another traumatic event for the poor koi. There they are, casually swimming about in their usual carefree, well-fed, pampered style, when suddenly a hole opens deep beneath them, and they are sucked down into a whirlpool, headed for who knows where. Isn't anything safe anymore? Captured at the beautiful Earl Burns Miller Japanese Garden, located on the north campus of Cal State University Long Beach in California. One more koi picture, and much more serene, for tomorrow, and then I'll proceed elsewhere. Thanks for dropping by, and for the kind comments you write on my topsy-turvy world!

Ooh, I've seen this phenomenon before, but inside though. Reminds me of the waste disposal systems in some folks sinks. I guess we might as well run with it, and go all the way up to ground sushi. Interesting image, and I hear there are still more in the works.... cool!!!

Beautiful colors and I also thought it was a play with oil & canvas. The vortex had me get the animal rights number - man up for fishy vortex, LOL!
