Description

It started as a faint red glow in the night sky, when creatures first began to move; after the rise and fall of countless civilizations, and inumerable millenia, it now prepares to devour these worlds and end a great cosmic cycle. Terragen, Apophysis 2, PS. Planets created with Terragen. Two renders, two terrains. Please view full size. Thank you for helping me look forward to my third year here at Renderosity.

Wonderful Science Fiction creativity! The new year will have us all looking forward to TG2; each day of reviewing the gallery will be like 'amateur night' for several months - a great challenge is ahead. This is excellent work Paul. I look forward to your futuristic renders.

Very cool, idea and post work ! Great terrain as well.. I think this belongs in the realism category, as this scenario is pretty much an inevitability at some point in our future. ! AARRRGGGHHH.

This is outstanding work, the lighting on your terrain is a beautiful blend of rich and vibrant colors. I know the lighting is what makes it but too often folks do not give it the vibrancy that comes with a sky such as yours.... Excellent work!!!
