Description
"The scout ships took off from New Phoenix just after dawn, as the sun lit up the surrounding canyonlands, with the warmth of the planet's long summer season still in the air. Today would be a joy ride compared to the last two years of combat; the invaders that had gambled for control of the planet and it's sister worlds hadn't counted on the stubborn defense of the settlers and there few delta fighters. At last, they had withdrawn and left the settlers in peace, with the whole planet now ready to be mapped and inhabited. The delta crews could now indulge their curiosity of every inch of the planet; the future seemed as bright as the sun on that newly freed landscape."

This certainly looks like many of the Frontier Worlds I've visited, though I can't recollect ever calling at New Phoenix. Those Delta scouts sure bear a striking resemblance to the Intrepid- class. Beautifully modeled and rendered; an excellent work, overall!
