I spent quite some time in the bush lately. This was captured at Buisfontein on the spur of the moment turning around after photographing a sable antelope unsuccessfully. This personifies the spirit of Africa to me and those like Kai, who long to be back with us again.

I've missed this marvel ????? Grrrrrrrrrrr !!! I've just seen this incredible shot ! It's really a great great shot Piet, all the Spirits of the bush are here, it's just magic ! I would like to made a long walk in the bush with you at the end of the day, and feel all the songs of it ! There are so many beauties and magic things and signs arround us, but we aren't always able to see them. But for who take the time, and open his heart... as you do... it's all different. It's one of the most beautiful and powerful photograph I've seen Piet. Hat on Monsieur ;o))))) and a big hug.
