Description

Big Bend - Oh Deer! Winding back down the mountains we encountered several deer that simply walked across the road 30 ft in front of us showing no signs of fear of humans. By the time I came to a stop and had my window down and camera pointed they were about 20 feet to our side watching us with a similar fascination. Although only about 10 feet off the road, you can see how the mother doe blends in with her surroundings. Too bad the two little ones were even better hidden, At this point I couldn't see them at all even though they were just a few feet from her.

If there were two you would have a dearset.... inside joke between Ken and I. This is so cool, so not like the you that you show on here. Not to say you aren't cool, YOU ARE, YOU ARE. But I love nature pics and thank you oh so much for these photos.

Great catch, B! When I see them they are gone long before I can get the camera out. Or if they're standing still there's no way you could pick them out of the picture, they're so well hidden. Perhaps I'll try one of those anyway just to see what I get. This is an awesome shot. (like the title too)

And wasn't she so kind to position her eye just in that little gap for you??? Great pic, glad I am not the only one who snaps away in the car. Thanks for sharing. jen
