Description

Black labs are made to fetch. They don't mind getting wet going after a stick or ball, even in cold water. Perfectly happy and perfectly made creatures. I have been wanting to do this image ever since my pup swam out to the raft after me up at mom's cabin in Wisconsin. She hated to have a bath but loved to swim in the lake. Go figure, lol. She is no longer with us but her memory lives on in me. Hope this is not too dark as I have the contrast quite high. Let me know if you think it is. Thank you. Credits: Foley filler forest, Tantarus stick, Lemonjim grass.

I understand about labs. I have seen them jump into swimming pools with the temp in the low 30's. my lab mix does not like water too much but she does not run from the hose like my other dog. he hates water and hates baths even more your art is exceptional in every way. something that would right at home hanging on the wall

From what I remember, they don't mind to wet people around them when they get out of water too ! ;) But they are so cool, you just have to forgive them ! The atmosphere, that gives a cold feel to the picture, is perfectly done. It reminds me of some morning walks in Normandy.

That's already been mentioned dB. I couldn't get rid of those shadows inside Bryce. I did try my hand at postworking it out but didn't upload the correction. Think I will and see what people think.
