Description

hahahha thinking they was looking for each other. I know they know where each other is at all times. Animals in the wild have to know what going on around them at all times for danger is around them. Just like the time I read of Davie Cockit[misspelled . he fought at the Alamo] He meet a pirate who was the wildest looking man he ever saw. Even wilder than the Indians he fought. He even learn some fighting ways from him. I know I off the image sorry. I know the birds is just out of the focus range but I still like the image. This was taken with my film camera with the 200mm lens I may had the 2x thingy on to make it 400mm. I was useing 800 speed film. I trying diff speed films. I going to try to write down what I do with each photo. I think they call it a log thanks for looking and comments

I think you captured this excellently. The water is soft and the foreground too. The birds are right within the range. Great snap!

Beautiful capture, 200mm lens is great for birds in flight if you got a steady panning hand. Need to watch the exposure though because of the bright sky, but you know that already lol!

The birds are nice, I also really like the lighting off the grass and the way the water is softly out of focus, it makes the photo artistic and draws our eyes to the birds. Your writeup is some good and wise observations too!

Davy, Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier. With the shimmering ocean out there, that really does look like a telescopic shot, Jocko. The foreground looks fantastic with the backlighted effect. I have the same problem as you with recording my photos. I've got tons of pictures of autos that I've forgotten the model and years they were manufactured.

One of them better turn around before the other one takes off in the wrong direction. I loved Davie when I was a kid, never heard of him meeting a pirate. Now if Disney could combine him and Captain Sparrow they'd really have something going!

You made me laugh with your title! :P You said the birds are out of focus, but I like it, the photo almost has a dreamy quality. Keeping a log is a great idea. If you begin to feel overwhelmed, just jot down the most significant things, and briefly. Short & sweet is sometimes all that's needed. :) Keep up the great work with your photos (and I love your accompanying backstories).

Davy meet him in Texas. He was one of laffet men from Gavliton. Davy and his side kick from Ark. came into a Inn and the pirate was sitting down eating with a knife. He stick the knife in the table and told them to sit. The sidekick jump to a chair and Davy just laff. The pirate is the one that went out of the Alamo to get help and saw none come he the one that went back to tell them "No help comeing" I read this in Davy own darie. with all his misspelled words and county talking grammer. I tell more of him later. Wish History get the facts from the horse mouth. Davy was there and he wrote it down.

LOL.... I understand their being lost and looking for each other so much. There were times when Terry and I couldn't see each other. Its lucky that we carry a 2 way radio or he'd be lost.... or was I lost? Excellent shot. Aloha
