Description

This is Lake Quanah Parker Dam in the Wichita Mtn Wildlife Refuge, SW Oklahoma, summer trip 2005. My son is on the dam giving things a sense of scale. This was a trip we took with my parents to visit old stomping grounds and to show the youngin' where I grew up. Temp was 106, wind always blowing to cool you off. We hiked around the top of Mt.Scott (not far away) shortly after this. My most favorite place on earth. =) Thank you for viewing~ Deb
