Description

Treasure Below. . . for FS Dedicted to FS, an artist who has gone further than any other I know to "breath life" into 3D models through detailed, realistic, and amazing advances in portrait texture, lighting, and presentation. Be sure to veiw the FS gallery, as often clues are given showing the steps used to make the masterful artworks there! A very first "Mermaid" render post. Multiple 8 hour renders and this is what we get? I made many mistakes and had to do things like hand repaint hair in PhotoImpact due skull show through, etc. Anuway, hope you like this, if time permits and better result is obtained a followup render my be posted. Credits: Victoria3, Mertail Dolphin: Daz3D Stinray: Content Paradise Morph Hair: Confusius (2D overpainted) Mcv free water prop (at DAZ3D tutorials) Shell bra: Nerd3D (for p5 Judy, so refitted here) Many 3DS freebie items converted and used on seabed, but water effects hide them, sorry. I love this one.. she looks like 2m50 tall and still you look down and see the world below.. I must say it almost reminds you of the dophins jumping up for fish in the Dolpin show.. A very special.. lovely.. warm and strange green (good!) image

Hey, we all make mistakes Mike that's how we learn. You can waste a day rendering a pic 'cos you forgot to switch of a reflection setting, or like me when last using that fine shipwreck that is underwater in this pic. I spent a day setting up a very complex scene with 2 shipwreks, sea demons, 5 skelletons, tons of special lighting FX. I was using a seperate screen to pose all the skelletons (3D models not Poser ones) adjustind a pose saving it then importing it and saving it in the main pic, thae I forgot where I was and hit Save instead of SAVE AS, All I got to show for a days work was 1 badly posed skelleton!!! Boy am I careful how I save things now!!!

Wow 8 hour rendertime?? I never can wait sooooo long.All my images rendered in P4-rendermodus (max 10 min).Very beautiful mermaid and POV!!The watereffect looks great!!!Thank's for the kind words.
