Oh Noooooo !!!
It's 3AM, Steve is out of beer, and the pub is closed. Thank goodness he has strong hot tea and something to nibble on.
He is several hours into a master artwork render, when all that beer results in a "jet to the WC".
When he get's back to his computer, what does he see?
Render error!
Oh Nooooo!!!!
Luckily the the "stars" were in just the right "formation" for Steve this night, as he saved his scene, [ unlike me ] so he can start another render and get some well deserved rest.

Okay, this is e classified as humor, but when it happens to you [ speaking from experience ], it sure does not seem funny! Maybe this should be a horror post!

Steve must be into Def Leppard - see Steve's shorts. I've never Rendered more than an hour, but then again, I'm still in basic learning... I keep hearing horror stories of rendering for 8, 16, even 24 hours... I hope it's just your computers and you can fix the problem.

Laughhhhhhhhhhhhing.........this is great...poor Steve...can see why he's throwing his hands up in the sir, I'd be so upset...great job Mike...I love it, thanks for the laugh but you're right, it wouldn't be funny if it was to happen to m...I wouldn't see a bit of humor...

Oh Noooooooo!!!!!!! Poor Steve!! Though I'm sure he appreciates that you allowed him to have a saved scene backed up! I do know it must hurt when it happens for real - but I've never rendered anything that took more than 30 minutes tops. Not sure I'd have the patience to do longer ones - no matter how spectacular they look! Great scene and story, Mike, thanks for the chuckle. Love his hand poses btw. -judee

I dont know which is worse Mike, A render crash or running out of beer at 3am!! Superbly funny image mate!! Love the shorts although I dont usualy walk round in my underware (this is England in December, not California. It was -5 degrees last night!!!) You might want to give me one of V3's hairs, put some silver highlights in it then scruff it up a bit (like Albert Einstien's) LOL I dont think I've had my hair cut in the last 7 years!!! Great wallpaper (for an English cottage) Not quite my style. The wall by my PC is Cranberry. I have A quite Gothic decor (yes I have swords and a large Medieavel shield on the walls) I'm off to put the kettle on (Afternoon Tea!) I raise my glass to you Mike for this fine render. Join me in a pint of Old Hobgoblin fine English ale :) Bottoms up! :)

I been there lol . I too saved it but as it reander I noted something was wrong with the image so I stop it and fix it at lest 5 times. I saved it each time but it took over eight days to get the render right lol cool one here

Great work! I hate it when this happens!! But it sure does happen often!:O A terrible thing to see when you have worked so hard!
