First of all I have a lil correction to make about my photo yesterday, Slave.
First of all, the name of that statue is Monument to Lord Nelson in Exchange Flags. The location is right, but the chained men are sailors, not slaves :p Might have been close to the same back then, but I think it's in a need for a correction anyways. I uploaded that photo at Flickr and another member new exactly what it was (and had photos of the whole statue as well).
Ok...that's that.
The photo above was taken a couple of years ago in a park not that far away from where we live. Those guys looked so peaceful while they were fishing. It was a nice day and perfect for that sort of doings.
Thank you for your comments yesterday btw.
I will be back laters or tomorrow to take a peek in your galleries. This afternoon I have a gingerbread house to put together and decorate, so I will be burning my fingers on melted sugar and say things out loud that would make Granny want to wash my mouth with soap if she was alive ;) Wish me luck :D

Perfectly toned scene for the pastoral pastime. :)

It is a beautiful piece of work. Despite the peacefulness, your thoughtful and outstanding composition makes the image very much alive. Excellent for viewing pleasures! ;o))

Nice one, Christa - you captured the essence of fishing! Sit back and relax! And I want to see a picture of that Gingerbread house of yours and one of the sustained injuries. (OK leave the latter out).

LOL @ wash your mouth! Great mood and colour and an excellent composition. I agree with Klaus - the essence of fishing.
