Description

Back in late December 2004, I was preparing from my short lived stay in St. Louis for my drive to my home town in Colorado. My wonderful 16 yo black cat Chibi was ill with immune system problems, and not prepared for the trip. (I was also not in the best financial shape at the time, which as a self employed artist, happens occasionally) A friend of mine Dr. Gary is a Vet in St. Louis, and we decided to trade. He treated Chibi, and I composed this commission of his puppy Flint :) Those eyes! Almost cartoon like. The PS photo was imported into Painter for the texture effects. So Dr. Gary has a framed pic of Flint in his living room, and Chibi was well enough to travel within 2 weeks :) Seems this pic fits the season .. I'll pull out a few more fun photos for the holidays before I get back to my "serious" layered artwork and architecture lol Oh, and I got stuck for 3 days during that trip starting Christmas eve in Topeka Kansas due to a huge ice storm .. Yes there are more pics and a story :) All the best for the season! Kurt
