Description

This is another sample of my abstracts based on local trees and parks (Mystic Visions Series). Based on 3 separate (main) photos at Anderson Park in Colorado, I intend to present this as a 3 panel Canvas piece late in Jan 2007.. Another many layered project ;) This is the first time I've posted the entire set to view. Photos (Minolta Dimage) were shot in mid October 2005 after a huge wind storm blew off most of the remaining autumn leaves within a few hours. The cubism inspired and textural post work was performed in PS CS (March-April 2006). Thanks for all the views and comments on previous pieces, it really has meant a lot to me! At Renderosity I've seen such wonderful and creative work, and have met some really cool people. Hope you enjoy! And again, have a great holiday, be safe, and may there be Peace on Earth .. Cheers and just realized it's Christmas Eve! (been snow bound for 3 days) Kurt P.S. I'm a bit confused as to whether to post my modified photographs as 2/D, or photography, as I also present untreated photos. So any suggestions are welcome ..

Thanks All! This is funny . I have prepared about 60 images so far for Renderosity. (475 and counting to go) And this site is such a diverse venue. At 1 image per day, 1) Do I stay on one course or 2) Do I mix things up like I do anyway :) Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Quanza, and I guess, just a Happy 2007 :) Woo Woo! Kurt

We should have a committee to establish a sub committee, so that we can create a commission to analyze this case and to make recommendations. :) Heck - place it where you feel it's best suited. It's based on photography - right? So you're quite ok here! And the image itself is stunning. Bravo!

Kurt, Your work is breathlessly stunning. How do you do such great work! I have been an artist in paints, charcoals and oils since I was a kid and I'm just getting started with photography using photoshop and illustrator. I have a ways to go to get to where you are. You do great work! Hey, send us some snow too! New York had a "Soggy Christmas". It rained like cats and dogs here. Carmen prismstar
