Description

I was out at Lake martin looking at some new places. Well it not new it just a few hundred yards farer than I went. I had the film camera on the tripod shooting I was going to shot at that place intill sunset. Then I saw this airboat comeing fast around the corner of some trees I shot two shots with the digital camera then I thought I was going to shoot it with the film lol it was too fast and I was so nevres I did not get any shots the first time it crossed over the land. I say " I wait for it to come back and cross over" I waited about Ten minutes when it came back. I shot as fast as I can with my digital camera then as It got over the land and out into open water I had the film camera ready this time and use the film camera to shoot the long shots as it throw water in back of it as it speed away. I drop it off at the drug store and get it tomorrow. I know Christmas is here and it caught me without much. I did do most my shopping today but then I saw I forgot some people so I got to go again tomorrow lol. I do not have much Christmas images. I guess you can say this is a Christman in Canjun land here in Louisiana. I still did not make the image I wish for you all for Christmas lol You will note the trees as it lost it brown leafs so fast from my last upload of this Lake about two weeks ago I think thanks for looking and comments. I know each image is a little diff in size.

Two things fighting for attention in these photos....the airboat and the trees in the background. Also the dim light doesn't help. With the setting sun everything is the same color and except for the fourth photo there is very little contrast. You did pretty good considering the situation. Now you know how I felt trying to take pictures of peacocks. They also move fast, and it's hard to prepare yourself with all that activity. Merry Christmas, Happy Hannukah, Feliz Navidad, Happy New Year, etc.

When I see such boats with their air propulsion, I always dream of a super ballade in Everglades before thinking of James Bond, who had a boat much less frustrates!

Jocko, this is a very nice action sequence, make me glad you stayed those ten minutes! And you are right about how much the trees have changed and lost their leaves since the photos two weeks earlier. Hmmm, we lost our leaves over 2 monthes ago, say you got a spare room in Cajun country? Heck, with an average winter parke from up north, one could most likely sleep outdoors in the paradise where you live. Nah, would get to hot!!! Jocko, here is hoping, wishen, and pray'n that you and family and friends have a warm, safe, and fun Christmas and Holiday Season! Looking forward to your art next year and your tips, suggestions, and encouragement on how to make art too, .. mcv ..
