Description

I shoot these two with my film camera as it speed off and round some trees to be out of site.[ the last photo as it rounded the trees did not come out] I not use to all the fast action and my digital camera is good but not fast on gettin set to take the next shot. I was reading about other cameras that is use to take Horse races and car races. Guess any tyope of sport. They a lot faster on getting set for the next shot. I was all thunbs too. I had 10 thumbs lol. and changeing from digital to film in a action stuff is something new to me too. That why I did not get the shots as the boat cross the land the first time. I make something for tomorror for Christmas. I guess the first halve of the world is in Christmas now lol. Merry Christmas MagikUnicornask about New Orleans... French Lousisana or the Canjuns is between New Orleans and Lake Charles. not much north of I-10 interstate. New Orleans have a lot of Spain in it and a lot of Afican ways. like Voodoo. In 1960 if you say canjun around here you be fighting one. It was a dirty work like the N word for the blacks. You can find that fact in one of the 1960 when I think of the magizine I tell you but it tells a lot about the world and shows a lot of super photos. It called National Geroghy[lol misspelled here]

Hey, I gotta get me one of those!!! Nice shots of the airboat considering the conditions. Lots of shadow though. The problem I have with my digital cameras when taking action shots is the shutter lag after I press the button. It is too slow, even when photographing marching bands in a parade. I'll have to experiment more when taking action photos.

Great shots Jacko! I like the top one for the trees, calmness, and super water ripples-waves. I like the bottom one for the sense of action and the movement from a forested area to wide open water with nice sky reflections! Merry Christmas to you and your two (not ten) thumbs!!!

I once was billed for sprocketless microfilm for some hard copy of computer screen images. Someone else wanted to cover his Schlerin 1000fps wind tunnel camera. I eventually got it journalled but he later got my personal credit card. Real time is way too slow sometimes. How to go faster is the illusion. The players at whist have the winnings.

both are excellent fast action captures. there are some old people in Louisianna that has French as their main language and hardly speaks English. Cajuns are also called Creole. I had lots of experience with "cajuns" when I was working at Nichols State College as the carpenters I hired were all pure Cajun
