Description

Sony Cybershot DSC-F717 Two weeks ago we had to intervene in a(nother...) case of animal cruelty. A 1 year old American Cocker (F) and a 9 year old Shih-Tzu (M) were abandoned on an attic above a pub. Without food... When we found them, the Shih-Tzu was already beyond rescue and we had to put him to sleep. The Cocker survived and this morning gave birth to 3 lovely pups. No guessing who the father was. Tonight she is sleeping in a warm and comfortable room at my place. She will stay with me for the next 8 weeks, so the pups can have a normal socialization, before adoption. They are the best christmas present I ever had .... Have a GREAT christmas!! Dirk

A wonderful rescue. Sorry the Shih-Tzu didn't make it. Sad to hear of what people do to animals and also to other humans as well. Thanks for sharing this event and to pics of this new family.

This is a wonderful story! I volunteer with our local Humane Society and it really does break your heart to see the abuse that goes on with these lovely creatures. Kudos to you for fostering them! Lovely pictures!

What a wonderful story and what wonderful shots! I can see the sadness in her eyes as one always can with an animal who has suffered in some way! How wonderful that you are providing shelter for her... you are Santa and the Good Samaritan rolled into one! Bravo for you!
