Things change after you murder someone.
Well, murder something.
Yes, it looked like my husband. It sounded like my husband. For the most part, it even acted like my husband. But, the fact of the matter is, it was not my husband. It was some creature. Some monstrosity that took his identity and, most likely, killed him. And, since I knew, it would have had to kill me, too. But, I got to it first. And, now, I'm on the run. Hiding. Hiding from the others just like it and from the police.
Every noise is terrifying, every person is suspicious. I don't know how to prove it and I don't know what to do next. But, I do know I will fight. I will fight to my own death, if need be. They killed my husband and that I will not let them get away with, no matter what!
