Love this shot!!! The lights remind me of the spirits of of the dead in the movies, LOST VOYAGE and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. If you ever unfortunate enough to be caught up in the middle of one of these lights it will suck the soul out of you, and you'll fall to the ground like a rag doll!!!!! Science fiction at its best. Beautiful silhouetting and sepia effects in this one, Andreas!

WoW, drool, northern lights are just ace and Eija's head is cute in it too!! I find that my cats are always sticking their head in the way, espeically when im doing macro shots!! I think they are trying to tell us something?? This is just great and im so far south theres no lights here!!

Well, I for one don't get to see this glow, never have but would really love to see this someday....I've seen the glow of our active volcano, but it can't match this...very kewl with Eija in the foreground. I'm into UFO's and this one really caught my eye....why I oughta!! Since you were kind to me on my post I will refrain from dolling out the slaps that you really should be getting for this one....What an eyeful here!! Happy NY buddy, and I hope to see more from ya in the coming year....now get back to work dammit!! Aloha!

I have never seen them in person although once they were visible all the way to North Texas near Oklahoma, but I was asleep and knew nothing of it until the next day. stunning capture especially with your fido getting in on the action
