Description
I took a couple elements from the scene "Ice Flow" and added some details, took some away, completely changed the lighting around etc. Believe it or not, but this is NOT HDRI lighting. I used the sun, selected soft shadows, took shadow ambience to 50 and added a very large radial light atop the scene with 0 falloff emitting very little light to further balance shadows. The result is something that looks almost like HDRI but with only 10% of the render time. Wheee!!!

Ha! "Cold as Arctic Monkey Balls!" So just how cold are they huh? Haaaaha sory I couldn't resist beautiful summit just the same it looks like a scene right out of one of my CGI Animated series I use to watch were the Roughnecks go to another ice planet to stop the enemy!!
