Description

I been seeing this tree and photo it many times. I never posted it because I saw things wrong with the photo. So I keep trying and then with the film camera I shoot this and I liked it. I shot this last week end when I shoot the airboads. They are about 3 miles apart. Hope you all like it. thanks for comments and all.

It is a wonderous caputure Jock. Superb. I am sorry it is dead :-(((( Find an acorn, plant it at this trees base, please. Keep it in little pot with earth first, to germinate. Oak will grow again. We have to love our trees, hey? Hugs for all your dear family. Diane. I grow little oaks from acorns, plant them in open spaces where they can have good life.

This looks like a really interesting place. I wonder why the tree died? It must have been such a beautiful big tree. Sad and lonely looking...

Nice capture of the dead oak, Jocko. That's life, and now death. Probably use it for firewood or something. The area looks rather feral. I have lots of photos of barren, leafless trees, but that's because they're dormant during the winter, and will blossom out again come this spring.

Wow! Great capture. Whats funny, I was planning to upload a picture of a dead tree close to Estes Park here in Colorado tonight :) But perhaps I'll do something completely different. All the best ***** Kurt

I wonder why it died? Old age? Some oak disease? Who knows? Great shot though! (:

I have seen trees like this in ancinet splendor in Rembrandt paintings. Well, maybe only one painting among his many paintings.
