Description

G'day. This is another shot form yesterdays outing inthe Yarra Valley east of Melbourne. It was a hot 30 degree celcius summers day (so no its not snow ). The white "snow like" effect is due to an Infra Red Filter!! More tomorrow Cheers Louise

30C? #:o( You lucky thing. Here its -2C and raining which leaves all the roads blank with ice...sigh. That sooooo sucks. Oh well, im happy for ya. #:o) This shot is beautiful! You sure have mastered that IR-technique havent you? I sure gotta try it myself once the trees are in bloom here. Have a wonderful day and a fantastic 2007!!!! #:o)

Would probably have looked great without the IR too - the composition is spot on. The IR filter and whiteness just makes the image different and more interesting from that perspective. Great stuff :)

This is unbelievably beautiful...your composition is just so perfect too. I'm fascinated by IR and was wondering if your article you mentioned was published in a magazine I could get, I'd love to read it. I did get a filter for my camera but haven't tried it yet, trying to work more on my composition first. Happy New Year to you and again...just a perfect shot! ;o)
