Description


Most Mantids hunt sitting on vegetation. Some species hunt from flowers, trees trunks or even rocks. Only three of the eight world families are represented in Australia.

What the...??? What is that thing? The head looks like a Mantis...but the rest looks like a worm with legs. What a freaky looking thing. Awesome macro though. Crisp and clear with beautiful quality and i love that black background. Just like Danny said...it looks like its staring into the abyss. Have a great day. #:O)

Beautiful picture. this guy look bigger than the pic i shooted a few days before. the mine look .. maybe the young boy of that, is similar and was camouflaged on the plant. Superb focus and great details.
