Description

Herring Pt. De I was genuinely amazed at how quickly the Atlantic waters turned cold. Especially since our days haven't been that cold. Donning my shoes and socks I got right underneath here. I think I took a dozen pics before I came up with just the right one. I was so involved I didn't realize I was knee deep in water and ankle high in sand! I nearly froze my toes off.... LOL! I much prefer B&W to the color in this. There is an eerie yet peaceful feeling about it. If that makes sense. Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Very nice prospective. Great black and white I think alot would be lost if it were in color.

Perfect in B&W! Awesome balance! And to think I used to Surf between peer pilings!

Extraordinary collection of lines and textures. B&W was a good choice.

Good choice in colors, being B&W it certainly brings out the texture in this harsh enviroment!!

Wondeful Pic Michelle. I'd be very interested to know what it looked like from the topside. It's too narrow to serve any practical purpose that I can see... Maybe a separation or marker of some sort? Usually peers are at least wide enough to walk on, but this doesn't seem to be the case. Did you perhaps crop two images together? Anyway, got to say it's very interesting and thought provoking indeed. Hugs from Dave :^)
