Description

We're not having much of a winter this year. Once frozen lakes are thawing and cracking. Most years this lake is frozen near solid and they hold car races on it! Where is that el nino - I have a thing or two to say to him! :) This picture reminds me of life and how when it falls apart and you try to put the pieces together but they don't quite fit and you wonder whatever happened to that beautiful picture perfect life you once had. Amazingly the pieces don't seem to fit back together...and a good visual warning to check the ice before treading out on it. Excellent photo!

Wow! Looks like a warm winter up there has it's own kind of beauty. Car races on the frozen lake, huh? That would be an amazing photo opportunity as well! Hope it gets cold up there soon! Would love to see that!

Wonderful analogy - but somewhat bleak in perspective. Whether Ice or life - things fall into place somehow at some point in time. Great photography, though!
