Description
Done for the 3DC Bryce challange. The American Kestrel is the smallest of the falcon family. Commonly known as the Sparrow Hawk, rodents are their primary diet. In the Midwest, they are a common sight atop telephone poles, or hovering, looking for the slightest movement in the grass.
The ground started out as 16 tiled 1024 terrains. An altitude render of those was turned into a 4096x4096 terrain. When editing was done, it was reduced to 2048. A copy was placed slightly below the first, and noise was painted on using a custom brush. Weeds by Drew Costigan, and mouse by JTrout. Bryce 6, with HDR image as only light source.
