Description
To first set this up, I put Christmas lights up in my kitchen. Because I can. It's a tradition that was established a full year ago in Christmas 2005, which was the first Christmas following my divorce. Back then, being single again, I discovered I could put up my Christmas lights wherever I damn well pleased, even in my kitchen!
So anyway, they're still up because I like them!
Tonight as I was washing a couple of wine glasses, I noticed as I was about to put them away in the cupboard how the Christmas lights reflected on the wine glass. When I turned off the overhead light the reflection was even more impressive.
So I got out my camera and tripod, and went to work. This is the first of three posts. This one is looking up in the cupboard where the wine glasses are in place. The next two posts utilize the macro lens as I dig deeper into the reflection.

Very interesting, almost like the neon reflections of a shop front. The green glow is also very pleasing.

Absolutely excellent. Looks like a city scape, but it's not. Maybe you should sent this shot to a casino owner in Las Vagus and have them build a casino in this manner. Love it.

So lovely Marshall those Christmas reflection in your glasses ! and a very good idea too. Before to read your comment I thought it was the reflection of an illuminated building ;o)))) Christmas light is more poetical. This year, with my removal, I haven't made our Christmas Tree, and no decoration.... but next year I'll continue the magic spirit of Christmas ! Giancarlo was as the children for that, he was always so happy to make all that too... Thank you for this shot and what it represent. Hugs my friend
