Description

I've never seen one of these before. But there he was outside my door this morning. I suppose the cold weather draws more unusual birds closer to the feeders this time of year. It's been very icy, and the wind chills were down around zero this morning. Only a couple of shots and then he was gone. Thanks for looking, Maria

Beautiful shot of a beautiful bird. His feathers look unusually smooth, may that be a result of Noise Ninja? Dont take that as a bad thing, beautiful shot!

Wonderful colors and a delighful capture. I wonder what happened to his crest? or perhaps females don't have them? I luv the way you've presented this, it's pretty stylish and goes well with the capture. Nice work!

Beautiful capture - well done! But I don't really know about the postwork - it appears that details may have been lost. But it's a good shot nevertheless!

I love waxwings and this is a superb photo of one. We always had them in the spruce trees when I lived in PA. Phyllis
